Carbon Capture

A lot of us in the Prime Movers Lab family, our limited partners, our portfolio company founders, our advisors, and our colleagues find ourselves spending a lot more time with, well… our families! Seeing kids show up in the background of countless Zoom calls is both amusing and now a somewhat universal backdrop for those of us fortunate to be able to work from home during this shelter-in-place time period.

While this challenging time period will pass, I am personally optimistic we will emerge as a more empathetic and prepared society because of it. However, one thing both unwavering and unifying in this global pandemic is our love for our children. In this period of “intense at home togetherness’, despite certain logistical challenges (meals, homeschooling, Disney+), parent-child love has only grown. We’ve gotten to enjoy time that we may have otherwise not had together.

Loving your children and desiring for them to learn about the world and find their passion within it is one of the more universal aspects to parenthood.

My children love to ask me about what I do and who I work with. I am grateful for the opportunity to involve them more deeply with my work, share their spirit of curiosity, and have it refuel my own interests. With that, I introduce: Prime Movers Lab — Kids Corner!

Last month my partner Carly Anderson produced a compelling five part series on Carbon Capture. Watch her break-it down and explain CO2 and carbon capture to the kids of our Prime Movers Lab family.

Enjoy!
