The pursuit of space travel has profoundly shaped our modern life in countless ways. From cell phones to memory foam mattresses, we use many materials and devices in our daily lives that started out as the enabling technologies for the space programs of yesterday. And one only need look at a science fiction bookshelf, or the sci-fi category on Netflix to see the shear magnitude of inspiration and content that has resulted from our collective dreams to explore and colonize space. Despite its apparent inaccessibility, space touches us all.

At Prime Movers Lab we have the good fortune to invest in the next wave of technologies that will unlock and shape the continued commercialization of space. With our partners at Axiom Space launching the first commercial modules for the International Space Station in 2024, and our portfolio company Momentus carrying satellite payloads to custom orbits, we are very involved and excited about the commercial opportunities that are happening above the surface, in the wide open spaces around our small planet.
