We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team, Marco, whose multicultural background and deep expertise in both Southeast Asia and the US capital market bring a unique perspective to Primitive.
Marco’s journey is a testament to the richness of diverse global exposures: Growing up in Indonesia as a 3rd generation Chinese and later pursuing his BSc in Industrial Engineering/Operations Research at Purdue University in the United States, Marco brings a wealth of both local and global market insight into our team.
Before joining us at Primitive, Marco served as the Research Director at DAR, a prominent institutional crypto research and data provider collaborating with major financial institutions and index providers like BBG and FTSE worldwide. His extensive experience in the crypto space dates back to the 2016–2017 ICO era, where he ventured into crypto funds and consulted on various DeFi projects. He’s also an avid writer and known for his high quality news letter Chain Catalyst
