Ash’s First Battle

It was a bright sunny day when a young boy called Ash began his Pokemon adventure with a young one called Pichu. Professor Sikamore, the main Professor of Birch Island, told him “your adventure has begun. Train your Pokemon to show the world that you are the Pokemon master!”

“However, first you must choose one of these three Pokemon: Charmender, Frogie or Treeko.” Ash chose Charmender and started at Route One where every other Pokemon trainer started. He had seen many people before and in fact one had given him three Pokeball ahead of his first battle.

“I choose you, Pichu” Ash shouted and then warned “it’s a Weedle!” when he saw his first opponent. Pichu used thunder whilst Weedle used harder. Ash threw his Pokeball and waited…

“1, 2, 3, you caught Weedle,” he heard.

“Yay, yay, yay I caught Weedle,” Ash cheered.

“Ok, time for another battle. Let’s test this Pokemon in battle,” thought Ash and checked who his opponent would be. It was trainer Kelly wanted to battle!

Ash called out Weedle whilst Kelly sent out Mewtwo.

“Metwo use psystriker,” Kelly ordered.

Weedle fainted.

“Oh no,” said Ash.
