Got one in mind?

For this dream project, answer the following questions:

  1. What is it?
  2. Why do you want to do it?
  3. Who are the ‘direct clients’ of your design?
  4. What information would you need to know about your clients to inform your design? Consider what knowledge gaps you need to fill.
  5. How can you involve your clients? Provide actionable examples.
  6. What are potential blockers (both internal and external) that would prevent you from completing your project? Consider what’s prevented you so far.
  7. How would you test this design? Define your success metrics.
  8. Would you be able to re-test it? If you would, how? If you wouldn’t, why not?

Now that you’ve answered all of the questions above, you’re ready to answer the final one:

  1. How would you actually go about doing your project?
    List Steps 1, 2, 3, etc.
