[Windows Guide] PRISM App freezing and initialization issues due to Fasoo app crash

We inform you about the problem of being stopped or not initialized while running the Prism PC app.

After updating the v3.0.0 version, there is a problem that the app is stopped or not initialized while running. The cause of this phenomenon is the conflict between Fasoo app and Prism app. For stable use of the Prism app, we ask that you uninstall the Fasoo app and use Prism. Follow along to learn more about the identity of the Fasoo app and uninstalling the program.

★ What is Fasoo App?

Fasoo (https://www.fasoo.com/) is a variety of security-related programs, among which there is a program called Fasoo DRM. This program can cause Prism to run or cause problems with initialization. Fasoo DRM is an enterprise document security program, and you can check the official product introduction by clicking the link here.

★ How to Uninstall Fasoo App?

If you visit a website that uses Fasoo DRM or work for a company that uses Fasoo DRM solutions, it is highly likely that Fasoo DRM is installed on your computer. If you cannot run the Prism app, we recommend that you first check if the Fasoo DRM app is installed and delete it. To delete Fasoo DRM, follow the steps below.

• STEP 1: Delete the ‘Fasoo DRMF Client for Customer Name’ program from the [Control Panel] — [Programs and Features] list as shown below.

If ‘Fasoo Live Update for customer name’ is installed, please delete it together.

• STEP 2: If you proceed in the same way as STEP 1 but need to enter the ‘Delete Key’, please contact the person in charge of the company.
• STEP 3:If the steps in STEP 1 and STEP 2 do not solve the problem, please contact the customer support center of Fasoo. Tel: +82-02–300–9000~2 Fax: 02–300–9400.

For stable use of the Prism app, we recommend that you use Prism on a device that does not have the Fasoo DRM app installed.
