[PRISM Guide #8] Update v1.8.0-Background Live Broadcasting (for Android)

Hey everyone! This is Editor B with the global live streaming app, PRISM Live Studio.

v1.8.0 Background Live Broadcasting

With this latest update of v1.8.0, the PRISM app will continue to broadcast live even if the app is running in the background.

For reasons of platform OS policy, iOS app do not provide background live broadcasting feature.

At times, you may need to answer the phone or open another app during a broadcast. Or perhaps you pressed to open another app by accident!

These are the reasons why we at PRISM Live Studio have brought this new feature of to the application. The background live broadcasting function will allow the streaming to continue through the camera lens, while the app is running in the background.

Background Live Broadcasting

For Androids you will have to toggle a button to activate the background live broadcasting function (as shown in the photo below).

Activating background live casting feature on Android

Simply go to Settings in Androids, then activate the following button: Allow display over other apps. By doing so, you will allow live broadcasting to continue nonstop in the background while you carry out other functions on your mobile device.

Live broadcasting is now available in the background without any discontinued breaks. Enjoy a smooth, non-stop live broadcasting with PRISM Live Studio!
