[Windows] Notice of compatibility issues between PRISM Live Studio v4.0.0 and the previous version

Hi! This is PRISM Live Studio team.

As the PRISM Live Studio Windows app is updated, we will guide you through the use of the sources added in the previous version.

1. Login

Due to the change in the login method, you may need to log in again after updating to version v4.0.0.

2. Source

Due to the app update, please notice that the following sources added in the previous version can no longer be used. Please add them again in the new version and use them.

PRISM Mobile

Download the PRISM Lens app from the PRISM official website(PRISM Live Studio)

1. Linking mobile devices in the PRISM Lens app
2. Add Video Capture Device Source in PRISM Live Studio App
3. Select PRISM Lens 1/2/3 from the camera device list in the Source Properties window
4. Mobile device available now

Monitor Capture(Full)

Please use it by adding it as a Display Capture source in v4.0.0 version.

Webcam/video capture device

Please use it by adding it as a Video Capture Device source in v4.0.0 version.

Application Audio Capture

Please use it by adding it as an Application Audio Capture (BETA) source in v4.0.0 version.

In addition to the sources above, the PRISM Camera source added previously can be used continuously as a Video Capture Device source.

The rest of the sources are still available in v4.0.0 regardless of updates.

3. Plugins

Please understand that the v4.0.0 app supports obs plugins, but does not support obs v29.0.2 or later plugins.

For reference, you can download the previous version (v3.1.4) from the official website (PRISM Live Studio), so try using the version you want.

4. RNNoise

The RNNoise function in the audio mixer has been removed from the audio mixer. So please use it by adding Video/Audio Filter -> Noise Suppression in the filter of the source.
