Sometimes I want to drop it all and go,
To start afresh where no one knows my name,
To throw away the junk that keeps me slow,
To shed the expectations that bring shame,
But every trial inspired me to grow,
And now I rise a phoenix from the flame:
I spread my wings and sing out, “This is me!”
I may be bruised and broken but I’m free.
