Being alive can be tough.

Being human can be tough.

Being an adult can be tough.

Being LGBTQ can be tough.

Being transgender can be tough, particularly now, but we can’t see it all through the lens of the media. Their job is to make us miserable. Misery sells advertising and makes them a lot of money. They revel in car crashes, mass shootings, hateful people, floods and political scandals. Our souls are drained by them.

The juicier the scandal, the better.

The media has made us all into social rubberneckers. We can’t help slowing down as they report of the human wreckage that occurs every day. There is little value for them to tell us everything is ok.

Cute babies, little puppies and caring people don’t sell advertising but we are the majority because otherwise we would all be living in our bunkers fighting for food and killing each other.

We need to turn them off and clear our filters out. Our entire day should not be spent in wallowing with them in their world of…
