Do Football Fans Hate Transgender People?
The Trump campaign has spent millions of dollars on anti-transgender ads
Over the last few weeks, the Trump campaign has spent millions of dollars on anti-transgender ads to attack Kamala Harris during college and pro football games. I guess that they are relying on awakening the transgender ignorance of football fans to generate more votes for Trump.
How pathetic, both for Trump and those who see the validity of those ads.
Sadly, those ads focus on the men in the audience. If Kamala Harris can get the women for abortion rights, Trump can get the men on homophobia.
The funny thing is, Trump already has the gender bigots in his camp, so his millions are only reinforcing his message to the same audience who already support him.
I sincerely hope that I am right in believing the rest of the football audience doesn’t feel the fear of me and the members of the transgender community. Hopefully, they appreciate that there are more important issues at stake in this election than where I go to the bathroom.
To be clear, I don’t blame people’s ignorance about what being transgender is.
They have a lot on their plate.
