From the Ashes
A Poem
They found me dancing.
They told me I was wrong.
They bound my wings in chains,
And stilled my song.
They saw my magic:
They told me it was bad.
They set my heart aflame.
I should be glad.
They found me dancing.
They told me I was wrong.
They bound my wings in chains,
And stilled my song.
They saw my magic:
They told me it was bad.
They set my heart aflame.
I should be glad.
