An ENTIRE POLITICAL PARTY is ALL IN with us! That is the new normal we should celebrate!
A writer’s prompt from Prism & Pen on politics? That is like the Bat Signal shining on the clouds for me… or should I say the Cat Signal shining for this cat woman?
I have no personal story to offer. I just want to give y’all a little pep rally speech, remind y’all how far we’ve collectively come (easy to forget), note the obstacles that lay ahead (which our idiotic opposition was silly enough to put in writing in “Project 2025”), and take just a moment to bask in the glory that is the fact that the Democratic Party is the LGBTQ Party!
And FYI, that is a relatively new thing, to have them 100% backing us, so y’all need to celebrate that!
By the way, y’all, if y’all want to know why I love to use the term “y’all” even though I am most definitely not from the South, Hannah Gadsby said: “Because y’all is the best, most-inclusive second person pronoun in the English-speaking world. Thank you The South, what an ally!”
