Sex ≠Gender. Otherwise, I Would Be Transsexual and Not Transgender.
We need the rule of law to differentiate us from the animals.
Words do matter.
They separate us from the animals.
Courts and governments are scrambling to codify gender as sex. This defies logic and will be impossible to enforce effectively. An online law dictionary defines gender like this:
GENDER: Defined difference between men and women based on culturally and socially constructed mores, politics, and affairs. Time and location give rise to a variety of local definitions. Contrasts to what is defined as the biological sex of a living creature.
In the rush to satisfy the reactionary binary bigots in the media and to ensure votes, politicians and courts are creating more chaos than solutions to a deeply intellectual and totally human concept of gender.
We, like all animals, have sexual organs.
Unlike animals, we have the intellectual capacity to see beyond the physical. Human consciousness includes being aware of oneself and one’s surroundings, including thoughts, feelings, and perceptions. We define our world with art, music, and science. We share our thoughts about love and God.
