For some reason I’ve been in a bit of a queer baseball romance mood lately. After all, what’s not to love about stories featuring handsome jocks finding love with one another? If I’m being honest, though, it’s probably just as much about working through my residual longings for my jock crushes of years past as it is about the books themselves. Whatever the reason, when I saw Cat Sebastian’s You Should Be So Lucky on the new-releases stand at my local library I figured it would be worth a read. I mean, it’s a gay romance, and y’all know how much I love a gay romance.

I’m sure that it will come as no surprise to regular readers of mine that I absolutely adored this book. This was my first time encountering Cat Sebastian’s work but, given how much of her output has been gay romantic historicals, I doubt that it will be the last.
