Episode 64: Cylaen makes an unexpected confession to Jevan.

Jevan met Ardyn and Cylaen at the hospital, having called the Wah’kah’ria to transport him. Marta and Mathias would continue on toward the first village they planned to visit and he would meet up with them again once he’d checked on Ardyn. Seeing Ardyn leaning heavily against Cylaen with a knife sticking out of his shoulder made Jevan’s blood boil.

“Ardyn!” Jevan cried out as he ran over to scoop his bondmate into his arms to carry him inside. “Someone, please help!”

As soon as the Athla’naa behind the front desk saw Ardyn’s condition, they immediately summoned a team of medical techs who rushed out with an anti-gravity bed for Ardyn to lie on while they brought him back into the emergency area, where they could transfer him to a medical bed. Jevan and Cylaen stood back as they gave Ardyn something for the pain before extracting the knife. Once they disinfected the wound and used a tissue regenerator, they insisted Ardyn spend at least an hour in a medical stasis field to make sure he was completely recovered.
