Ardyn watched Jevan as he disappeared into the maintenance hatch. In situations like these, they kept their telepathic link open, so their emotions and thoughts flowed freely between them. Ardyn could feel how tight the maintenance duct was for Jevan, who was decidedly larger than the average Athla’naa.

“Let me know if you get stuck,” Ardyn told Jevan just as one of the security techs handed him something.

Keryth addressed everyone. “My techs are handing out atmosphere suits. You will need to put them on before we can proceed and make our way to the shuttle bay. Because of the damage to the ship, some of the areas we will need to travel through have little to no air left. Also, if you can, help others get into their suits as well, especially anyone not familiar with how these work.”
