Amundsen scowled at the camera as he began to speak. “People of Medellus. Once again, you have been fed lies by those who wish to doom our world. Andreesen is a traitor to our people. He knows how much danger he is putting you in, but he clearly does not care. Andreesen believes that these elves can keep him safe when they are the very reason why our entire world is in danger.

“How do I know? Because these filthy, treacherous elves are the advance scouts for those who will come to destroy us. They claim they’re here to help. They claim that some of them crashed in Vestos over twelve hundred years ago. Lies! All lies! They — ”

Before Amundsen could continue his tirade, Councilmember Euridice stepped into view. “That’s enough Amundsen. You’ve served your purpose, but I think it’s time I take over.”
