Episode 85: A revolt turns the tides against the Society of Sevens.

While the Med’nor leadership were preparing their strategy against the Society of Sevens, mass protests once again erupted across Ateria and Vestos. This time, instead of protesting the obvious lack of leadership, the protesters were very vocal against the Sevens.

Jevan watched the broadcast as Medellans across Ateria chanted “let us vote!” and “Athla’naa belong!” Many even went so far as to wear fake pointed ears and dye their hair various shades of purple. It warmed Jevan’s heart to see the outpouring of support. He knew the Sevens wouldn’t back down so easily, but the protests gave him hope.

Several days before the date they had planned to hold the elections, the interim Med’nor leadership implemented the first part of their plan. An entire fleet of ships from Aria’naa arrived, completely cloaked to avoid detection. They surrounded Med’nor and used the data gathered about the Sevens technology to jam all their communications and transmat systems. Only public communication channels were left untouched, so if the Sevens had to send any messages, they would be publicly scrutinized.
