You know, there’s something I’ve noticed, and it’s been nagging me like an itch in a hard-to-reach spot. It’s about the queer community, specifically the gay community. Let’s unpack it, shall we?

Hold on tight. We’re diving deep into the waters of the unspoken, the cryptic, the hush-hush. And mind you, we’re not just dipping our toes; we’re doing the full-on cannonball.

The Invisible, Yet Ever-Present Pyramid

First things first. Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s not there. Ever walked into a wall in the dark? Yeah, it’s something like that. But we’re turning on the lights today.

The hierarchy within the gay community is like the elephant in the room. But instead of an elephant, it’s a neon-dressed, feather boa-toting drag queen who’s death-dropping right in front of you.

It’s based on a whole lot of things — appearance, masculinity, age, the list goes on. But let’s take this one step at a time. I mean, we don’t want to trip over the sequins and glitter, do we?
