Will You Come Out for Medium Day?

Medium Day is rapidly approaching. This all-day virtual conference, Saturday, August 12, will feature presentations by a select group of Medium contributors covering myriad topics.

Many of the presenters are considered experts/authorities in their fields. And it appears that a good number of the presentations will be “how-to” workshops on writing for and building an audience within the Medium platform.

I do not claim to be an expert or an authority on anything, nor will I be using my time slot to help folks sharpen their writing skills or increase their following.

My presentation, entitled “Bi Myself,” addresses a theme that is both personal and universal: Coming out late in life and the commitment to live in total honesty.

After reading a revealing personal essay about my experience of coming out at 60, I will open up the forum for questions and comments.

My slot is 8:30–9PM (Eastern time) 5:30–6PM (Pacific).

Perhaps you’ve had a similar experience. If not, I’ll bet you know someone who has.

Regardless, it would mean the world to me if you’d set aside a half hour of your valuable time to attend.
