Please don’t learn how to code

You’re wasting your time if you are trying to learn how to code.

First of all, you don’t even know what language you should be learning.

Second, you don’t even know how to use the latest framework and build tools.

Just give up now.

More importantly, you should give up on learning to code because you are probably better than me.

Once we go applying for jobs it might come down to you and me? That means one of us is S.O.L, so please don’t learn how to code.

The tech bubble is coming

It’ll probably be here by the end of the year.

Pretty soon developers aren’t going to get paid well and everyone will have a new website so there won’t be any more new work.

So please don’t learn how to code.

If you don’t understand Javascript, then just throw in the towel.

I don’t get it and I have tried to learn it a few times. Just give up.

Because if you pick it up quickly and are able to use it effectively, then I will be sad.

Most coding jobs are really boring

Oh you think you are going to work for a super hip startup in San Francisco?

Have fun paying $5000 a month for rent.

You will probably end up coding a catalog app for a used car parts website.

You don’t want to do that. Just give up. Please.

Let me work in peace.

I can only read so many tutorials and books. I need more time.

So give up on your dreams to code so I can take my time and reach mine.
