Apeiron is a God Game genre like Sims and Black and White. Players can become Godling and rule over life to develop the planet. After developing the planet and forming a squad, players aim to fight each other in the form of individuals or guilds and become rulers of the Apeiron universe.

Godling can develop his own planet and become stronger.

“To shape your own planet, guiding the rise and fall of civilizations. To weave the fabric of spacetime and bear witness to entire life cycles of the stars. Ascend to the cosmos: welcome to the Apeiron universe.” — Apeiron white paper

Part 1

  • 1–1 Planet Development and Dood follower
  • 1-2 Elemental Miracle
  • 1–3 Alignment
  • 1–4 Combat System
  • 1–5 Armageddon — Soul gem and Relic
  • 1–6 Aging of Planet — Star

1–1 Planet Development and Dood follower

Players can perform Element Miracles to develop planets and make Dood follow them.

The player who starts Apeiron owns the Planet NFT and becomes the Godling. The Godling places the Spirit Core on the EDEN. Using the enigmatic EDEN structures scattered around the galaxy, players will be able to channel their divine powers into producing incredible elemental miracles to grow and develop their Planets. As the planet develops, creature on a planet called Dood gradually follows the Godling. (Players can get the Planet NFT from the gaming guild and also purchase it from marketplace.)

1–2 Elemental Miracle

Using the EDEN, players can perform Miracles. Miracles are tied to the environment by the four traditional elements: earth, water, air, and fire. Through them, the player can shape the world and the Doods will respond accordingly. Send rain to help them grow their crops. Break apart mountains to provide them ore to build their cities. Or, should your followers displease you, a fireball will always put them in line. As the player uses Miracles to develop their planet, they will be able to add new and interesting skill cards to their combat deck.

1–3 Alignment

The player is performing the Elemental Miracle that Doods wants
The player is performing the Elemental Miracle that Doods can feel fear.

As player cast Miracles, player’s Alignment will shift towards either good or evil. As the player performs an Element Miracle that listens to the prayers of the Doods, the player’s alignment will move towards good. Conversely, as the player performs an Element Miracle that causes the Doods to have a strong fear and rules the planet with an iron fist, the player’s alignment will move towards evil.
Regardless of whether the player’s alignment is good or evil, the player can convert Doods into followers and open up special skills and quests. How to rule the planet is the freedom of the players and is a unique fun factor.

1–4 Combat System

After converting enough Doods into followers, player can summon Planetary Avatar. Players can enjoy action RPG-style battle by teaming up with four Dood heroes called the Apostles and the Avatar. This real-time battle style requires the player’s fine control and quickness. Below is a teaser for the Battle of Apeiron

Players can move the Avatar and Apostles and use skills in real time. When Avatar uses decisive skills, it shows the scene in animation, adding to the fun of the battle.

Apeiron supports the following combat modes:

  • PvE — Dungeon exploration and acquisition of artifacts(Useful item in a dungeon)
  • PvP — 1v1 Battle, Tournament, and competition ladder
  • GvE — Building an alliance between the planets and attacking the boss
  • GvG — Battle Royale where one of hundreds of players survives
  • E-sports — Competition among top players for awards and honor rewards

Players need to work out the right deck and strategy depending on which combat mode they are in. The deck configuration of GvG, a large-scale battle, and PvP, a 1v1 battle, will inevitably change. For winning the battle, the player must combine the different classes, abilities, and skills of Avatar and Apostle to devise an optimal strategy for combat mode.
Also, in order to win large-scale battles like GvE and GvG, Apeiron players have to form guild-to-guild alliances to work together. Various combat modes and real-time combat system will give Apeiron players a great sense of immersion.

1–5 Armageddon — Soul gem and Relic

The planet is being destroyed by a player initiating Armageddon on the planet.

As the Elemental Miracle is performed on the planet, the planet is saturated with development. At this point, the player can choose to initiate an Armageddon. This will effectively “reset” the Planet, but will grant a set amount of Soul Gems, which can be used to upgrade the player’s Spirit Core, providing permanent passive and active bonuses.

During a reset, players will be given the opportunity to convert relics obtained during the development of the planet into NFTs. The player can strengthen the planet by equipping the converted artifact NFT after reset.

Players can be stronger with Soul gems and Relic NFTs obtained through the reset process of causing Armageddon to destroy the planet.

1–6 Aging of Planet — Star

Player can accelerate Planet aging by parking planets in the orbital tracks of Star.

The Relic can be inserted as many as the number of relic slots on the planet. When a planet ages, it can extend its relic slots from one to nine, which requires Star NFTs. As player put a planet on an empty orbital track of a star, it ages.

Although the planet ages over time, it is significantly slower to age than using stars. Players with high-tier stars can quickly age the planet, which will give them an advantage in battle. (Players can borrow and use Star NFT from other players and also purchase it from marketplace.)
