Have you ever procrastinated an assignment until there is merely no time left and then you find yourself in a panic? Then you miraculously find yourself working with the most focused work ethic that you didn't know existed for the next couple or hours or so to completely finish a assignment? I am going to refer to this time as “Crunch Time” for the rest of this article. “Crunch Time” is what some people will find themselves in more than others because of their procrastination problem. The interesting part about this time is some peoples ability to work excessively focused during this period. The feeling of stress and anxiety begins to kick in the closer a person gets to the due date of an assignment. These factors give people the ability to work with an extreme focus that crucial to getting it done on time. Pressure is also a factor that cause a person to work more effectively. What can also happen to one during this time is that begin to breakdown and get nothing accomplished because of to heavy load of stress and anxiety applied with the idea of the due date approaching and there is merely nothing done. This is just another result of what can happen when one procrastinates an assignment for too long. “Crunch Time” is not somewhere you want to find yourself very often because this means that you are annually procrastinating your own work. Through experience and research it shows people will begin to work harder once under pressure to get something done in a certain amount of time.
