How to Build Your Own Second Brain

Introduction
When it comes to building a system for “personal knowledge management” — often referred to as PKM — better described as a system of digital organization, some of us may be more resistant than others.
There has to be a reason I’ve taken Tiago Forte’s online course, Building a Second Brain (or BASB) four times, and I’m about to do it again. This time it’s just for the inspiration he sends out to all of his students.
While I’m nowhere near the top of the mountain of digital competence and Getting Things Done (GTD) — David Allen’s “Mind like water” — I’m definitely more consistently productive and ready to pass on a simplified version of Forte’s second brain.
