Creative Lent #11 — Sidewalk Chalk

The last two weeks have been a whirlwind with traveling and transitions. Regardless of my desire for it, there’s been little time for creative work. Bringing a new season in more ways than one for me, today was time to get back at it with Creative Lent. The kids made figuring out what to do pretty easy: “Dad, can we go out back with sidewalk chalk?”

Being the first day to play outside, drawing didn’t last long before the push scooters were pulled out. We were able to get a few done though:

My kids bring me joy. They remind me that sometimes just coloring is enough, regardless of whether you’re in the lines or not.
