Prayer. We want to. We’re told we should. We’re convinced prayer would change things, even us. But many times we feel lost and uncertain how to begin. We need to find words. The right words. True words. Words that will shape us as we speak them.

So we turn to the Psalms. In them we rediscover 150 poetic, melodic, gritty, honest expressions of the human soul before God, used by countless pilgrims over many centuries to find words.
