We are still under impressions we have gathered throughout this unforgettable three-day conference, which is strictly selected for startup founders. Attending Pirate Summit is quite an extraordinary experience — participants from 60 different countries, unique location, interesting expert sessions, well coordinated pirate theme and relaxed atmosphere all add up to make this Europe’s largest invitation-only conference for early-stage startups, investors and corporate executives feel like a festival.
Pirate Summit brings together more than 1000 movers and shakers of the digital world, among which were more than 250 investors. We have decided to seize the opportunity and to schedule as many meetings as possible, since our main intention was to find investors, who would help us with infrastructural support, fund-raising, and to establish strategic partnerships with prospective partners. In addition to collecting numerous opinions about our business, we presented and discussed Procurean with people from all over the world, who were interested in procurement and B2B platforms, because we know how important attaining the best product/market fit is.
To retain a networking format on the highest possible level of quality and influence, all attendees of Pirate Summit were handpicked from applications or were personally invited. We are very honoured not only that we took part in such high-level event and connected with other ambitious, driven and like-minded people, but also that we had an opportunity to be among startups who were selected to pitch their idea in front of all participants and to »walk the plank«. We are happy to say that we have received positive feedback from the judges and other speakers and investors.
Pirate Summit was overall an amazing experience in many aspects — it was a great networking event where we have had a chance to meet many interesting startup founders and get in touch with investors. Apart from the networking part, this conference was a one of a kind event, since everything was in connection with the pirate theme — every participant even got his or her own eye patch. We have enjoyed every minute of it.
