So in this article I’m going to talk about a conceptual UI/UX project that I’ve done based on a (AR) augmented reality musical platform. Before talking about the AR workflow let me explain about the core functionalties that are
available in this conceptual application. It allows you to see latest news about singers/artists (performers) in a general news feed and only thing that the user has to do is keep scrolling. If someone wants to find a song
user doesn’t have to raise his/her finger to the nav bar hence user can simply swipe the screen to left smoothly. Likewise user can swipe the current screen to left or right according to the page that he/she needs to visit.

Already released albums and updates about upcoming albums are available in the “album” section and if user selects kind of a track the screen will be switched to the “player” section and color of the screen will be changed
according to the cover art of the song.

Here’s the demo

Why Augmented Reality ?

For an example just imagine user is listening a song using an ordinary player and he/she needs to raise the volume without unlocking the sceen, What she/he has to do ?. User has to move his/her fingers to the volume button all the way from
keyboard. But in this concept only thing that user has to do is just move his/her finger to the screen and then it will automatically pop op the music player. Then if he/she wants to volume-up, only thing that he/she has to do is
put together his/her thumb and forfinger and rotate it near the popup screen(which is shown in the video). Also user can switch to another song by moving forfinger up/down smoothly.

Moving fingers around volume keys to increase the volume.

So at the end i want to say that if anyone wants to make this kind of an application make sure that your app is enriched with strong UX principles. Because only colors and fonts(features also) won’t help you to keep your audience happy !!
