The 3rd Product Hunt Boston Meetup will take place at HubSpot (2 Canal Park, Cambridge, MA) on Wednesday, April 11th. Wondering who will be demoing their products? I’ll give you a preview of the four startups and their products you’ll be able to try firsthand. Each are looking for your feedback to help improve their products and it couldn’t be a more exciting way to see what they’re working on. Before you continue reading, have you RSVPed yet?

Sam ShamesEmbr Labs

Embr Labs has created a product called the Embr Wave, a personal thermostat that goes on your wrist. Embr Labs was founded by Sam Shames and fellow MIT students with the mission of harnessing the power of temperature to improve personal comfort and save energy. The wristband works by directly warming or cooling the temperature-sensitive skin on your wrist and recreates the warmth of your hands by the fireplace in the winter or the chill of an ice cube on your skin in the summer. You’ll be able to wear Embr Wave at the Meetup and give feedback on how to make their new mobile app more useful.

Alex CookNanaGram

Alex and his brother, Andy, built NanaGram as a gift for their grandfather for his 94th birthday. In the past, Alex and Andy have tried to get their grandparents to use the newest technology, but printed photos always worked best for them. How could they easily share new photos regularly with their grandparents? That’s when NanaGram was born. NanaGram allows you to text photos to a unique phone number and each month these photos are printed and mailed to your loved ones. Alex has completely revamped the onboarding flow and wants to get your impression on the recent changes.

Amy SpurlingCompt

Compt helps make your company’s perks more personal. Taking a people-first approach, Amy Spurling and the team want to have perks shape company culture in a positive way. “Free beer and ping-pong are no longer enough to attract and retain top talent in an evolving, and competitive workforce,” says Amy. Giving your employees money every month to buy books, take others out to lunch, or invest in a gym membership is easy to track and manage with Compt. Until now, they’ve been building their platform privately, so get a first look at Compt on Wednesday and help them shape the product.

Robert ShapiroSplitFit

Do you think affordable personal training is beyond your reach? SplitFit will make you rethink that with their $20, on-demand personal training in gyms and studios. You can simply pay as you go and avoid the traditional monthly memberships and training packages. SplitFit allows you to attend the session by yourself or join a pool with up to four people to make a more social experience. Try a quick session with their expert trainer, Kristina Sadlo, and help SplitFit figure out how they can grow beyond Boston.

Along with your feedback, we’ll have judges weigh in too–thanks to Parul Singh, Chris Miller, Rajia Abdelaziz, and Katja Wald for lending their expertise.

We’re so excited interact with four awesome startups and meet the Product Hunt community IRL on Wednesday. It wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors, so a huge shoutout for their help!

After the event, we’ll be heading around the corner to the World of Beer (100 Cambridgeside Place) to continue the conversations. Can’t wait to see you, so bring a friend and RSVP here!
