Back in April, we hosted our 3rd Product Hunt Boston Meetup at HubSpot. We were joined by a hundred startup founders, enthusiasts, and investors. The night kicked off with the presenting teams showing their products at stations around the room. Following that, we laughed, we cried (seriously, tears were shed), and got a first-hand look during each teams demo.

Since April, the teams have been busy grinding away. Let’s take a look at what they have been up to!

Embr Labs

A personal thermostat, directly on your wrist. Embr Wave helps you feel colder or warmer so you can be more comfortable.

Since April the Embr team has revved up their sales engine. Selling over 3300 units, they pulled in over $1M revenue for remainder of the month. This represents +45% in sales month over month. On the product front, they’ve started their beta for Extended Mode, providing longer warming and cooling sessions.

NanaGram is more than just a side project for Alex Cook. The original idea for the product was inspired by a gift for his late grandfather, Tirrell Cook. From then on, his mission has been “to put happy tears on grandmothers everywhere”. Since April’s Meetup NanaGram has accumulated 1,000+ active users and has sent 10,000+ photos through their text service. We’re always impressed with Alex’s hustle, like offering gift ideas to hundreds of people who didn’t know what to get their mothers for Mother’s Day.

Compt

Compt is perk management software that helps companies of all sizes and budgets bring personalized perks to their team.

🏆 Winners of the Shipping in Boston Award

Watch Amy Spurling present Compt for the first time(!) at 41:45

The Compt team as been busy partnering with innovative, people-first companies for their 3-month beta. And yes, all the companies who were in their alpha sticked with them! There’s much to be thankful for, certainly. As the product continues to grow, we can’t wait to see where the winners of the Shipping in Boston award take the product before launch. Upcoming, they’ll be presenting at the MITEF’s Startup Spotlight and Mass Innovation Nights #112. And if you’re looking to join the ship, Compt is looking for a summer Marketing Intern.

SPLITFIT

Split the trainer. Split the price. Always only $20. SPLITFIT is the easiest way to get quality personal training in reputable gyms & studios near you on-demand.

Watch Robert Shapiro and the SPLITFIT presentation at 1:01:00

The SPLITFIT team, now up to 6 people, has cranked away on improving metrics since April. With 15 gyms and studios on the platform, they now have over 200 monthly active paying customers, who are booking 3.5 sessions a month. Their churn is also lower now, with more than 50% of their users sticking to training with SPLITFIT. Talk about the anti-resolution! Also congratulations to the team for being accepted into the 2018 MassChallenge cohort (along with former presenters Perch)!

If you missed the Meetup, you can catch up with the live stream below! And thanks again to our amazing sponsors, without whom this wouldn’t have been possible: HubSpot, Blaze Pizza, and Farmer Willie’s.

As always, if you’re building a product in Boston, let us know so we can add you to the Made In Boston collection on Product Hunt!

Skipping ahead? Watch Embr Labs (08:30), NanaGram (22:00), Compt (41:45), and SPLITFIT (1:01:00).
