And so we went back to the drawing board with interviews … checking in with different communities (and their organisers), seeing if they saw the same signs.

LFG (looking for group) to community organisers in ASEAN countries
We discussed over 3 months what we knew about the community and value it provided

Some understood and kept busy, some took a pause to have a chat.

Focused workshop sessions on developing an impact map and our engagement style

Some indicated an interest to have a conversation.

Back to basics on how we understood the community life cycle
Thinking about what were the best ways to on-board new members towards maturity
We thought about the learning loops needed
We examined our engagement styles and stories
Forming a roadmap for 2018 and beyond
