Our Team Rituals at Producter
No, not daily stand-ups or something..
Connection is the cornerstone of team culture. Although we are a remote-first team and love it, it might feel isolated without in-person interactions.
Creating an inclusive culture is what holds the team together — that’s why each member should contribute in the long run.
Team culture has always been a priority at Producter. This led to fun rituals over time.

Get Together 🎰
The thing is, we’re a competitive team! It’s fun to be competitive while getting to know one another. The Get-Together sessions are how we found that out.
It’s a weekly game or team-building session set by one of us. The host sends a calendar with an emoji-only, not explaining what the concept is about — there was a time we got a calendar with a toilet paper emoji. I know, right.
So far, we have played Haxball, Two-Truths-and-a-Lie, Werewolves, and Villigares, among others. It was a lot of fun.
Sharing Session 📖
Every member of our team has expertise in a different field. One of the best ways we can grow together is to share our knowledge. We have many outputs from this session that we really consider and sometimes even improve our product.
Every two weeks, one of us prepares a short presentation for the upcoming week, and usually on the last day, she/he informs and stimulates our thinking.
After every presentation, there is a mini-workshop that challenges us to stay alert and creative.
Competitor Analysis 〽️
Being competitive requires constant market monitoring. We never bury our heads in the sand.
We screen and evaluate competitor products every week to stay on top of the industry. As our primary objective in this ritual is to think about our product and the market, it is not important what they build but how they build it.
Competitors might have a strategy that doesn’t suit our needs. We’re always on the lookout for innovations that will keep us competitive.
Task-Free Zone 🥏
Continuously talking about growth, product or strategy should not be the only discussion topics. There are times when we need to speak about ourselves or our process design.
On a monthly basis, we get to know each other’s perspectives outside of work. This allows us to identify our team’s strengths and, create stronger bonds.
Our final ritual is a little different from the others. Many of our friends working at different companies tell us that their ideas aren’t evaluated. That’s not something we want to see in Producter.
Brainstorming sessions help us decide where to go with our business strategy and product together. At these sessions, many ideas compete to be on the agenda. We’ll be making a new one soon, and I’m already excited.
