How Apple Notes Helped Me To See The Light

Everything is Apple…

I’ve seen the light. I’ve been a bit jumpy lately, not really settling on a note-taking home; with Apple Notes, Goodnotes, Bear, Drafts amongst the mix. I even tried Obsidian for a while.

Last week, as I started back at work after the Christmas break, I had the time to get my Apple Notes ‘system’ in order.

Now, I’ve made no secret of the fact that I’ve experienced problems in the past, with syncing across my devices, but at the moment all is OK and I hope it stays that way.

This must make me seem as fickle as anyone who chops and changes apps; and I’ve been the first to say that doing this is counter-productive.

ProNotes

I use ProNotes on my MacBook, to access additional functionality; such as using markdown, or adding backlinks, which comes in handy.

This is a Mac only app; it’s not available on iPad or iPhone.

I wrote about this app and it certainly helps getting notes down quickly.

Productivity Toolbox

Bring Apple Notes into my toolbox now means that I am back to using the stock Apple products for all my productivity.
