How to make Monday blues beat the “Monday blues”
There’s a proverb which says a diamond cuts a diamond.
On similar lines, earlier this morning, we did an experiment at work to see if Monday blues could beat Monday blues.
We asked our colleagues to share what quote motivated them or represented their thoughts about Mondays and Monday Blues. In minutes, the office was abuzz with energy with each sharing their quirky thoughts or motivation mantra. It’s interesting to read how different people think of it. Sharing the best ten we liked!!
VJ feels Monday is the favourite day of the week for him — “Do what you love and you will never have a problem with Monday!”
KK’s motivation — “Rebel against the Monday or else pretend it’s not a Monday”
AB’s motivation — “You Don’t have to see the whole staircase, you just have to see the first step”- Martin Luther King.
DS’s Monday mantra at 9.00 AM is an anonymous quote she read — “May your coffee be strong and your Monday be short!”
GA’s Monday mantra is “Every Monday you have two choices: Continue to sleep with your dreams Or Wake up and chase them”
AM’s motivation is a quote by Ayn Rand — “The question isn’t who is going to let me; it’s who is going to stop me.”
KM’s motivation — It’s not Monday, Its pre-pre-pre-pre- Friday!!
KH’s mood was captured with her phone’s wallpaper!
VB also drew inspiration from a Garfield quip — “The bright side is, Mondays come only once per week!”
and finally the quiet guy GM shares how he patiently awaits the day when he hears a radio announcement that “Monday has been cancelled and its Friday again!”
P.S. — The Monday Blues got kicked successfully !!
