About the brand and team
Product Locus is a platform targeted for product managers to discuss, debate, and learn from each other. Great products change the world, they change human behaviour once and for all, they improve the efficiency of how we do things. All of us have been seeing multiple examples of these happening in the past 10+ years.
In Product Locus, we will discuss about below five flavours:
1. Product management basics: Multiple detailed primer articles describing the what & who of product managers.
2. Product reviews: We will pick up both mobile and desktop based products, and do a deep dive via a product management lens. An unbiased (needless to mention) review that will bring out multiple learnings for readers.
3. Product management tips: We will write our own articles and also source the best articles from web that will carve out a great product manager.
4. Expert interviews: Rockstar product management professionals will be interviewed with the only objective of bringing out various learnings from them.
5. Cool features: We will consistently scan all products for its features. We will pick the uber cool and useful feature from apps & desktop applications and showcase them.
In short, Product Locus is like a “Facebook+LinkedIn for product management professionals”.
Note 1: “Product manager” refers to anyone in product management — irrespective of the seniority in role (from junior product leads to CPOs)
Note 2: Though Product Locus is mainly for product management professionals, its also for anyone (CEO, CMO, CTO, developers, QA, etc) who wants to get into product management or know more about product management. Love products? Then, this site is for you.
Note 3: The site is extremely mobile responsive. So, access Product Locus from any device, any where.
Team
Product Locus is founded by Karthick Prabu. He started this platform because of his passion towards product management.
Karthick has over a decade of experience in product management, with expertise in travel technology domain.
Apart from products, he is also passionate about design, technology, writing, and travelling-like-a-local.
Currently, he is the chief product officer of IDS Next, a Bangalore-based hospitality technology company that serves over 5,000 hotels globally.
