Meet Nikita Gupta, Who Is Helping Job Seekers Break Into FAANG Companies

Nikita Gupta is the founder of FAANGPath and is currently working as Marketing Manager at LAUDE the Label, a leading fashion e-commerce brand in the USA.
She has 22k+ followers on LinkedIn with more than 2.5 lacs views on recent posts. She got interview calls, and job offers globally from companies like EY Ireland, Deloitte Australia, and Mirum USA while she was in Singapore through LinkedIn and has received 200+ interview calls.
She got the idea for her startup FAANGPath through LinkedIn and has met the VP and partners of big companies such as Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG, etc., for a coffee chat through LinkedIn messages. She has hosted various sessions on how to use LinkedIn to one’s professional advantage and how to land jobs at FAANG+ companies.
What is FAANGPath, and how did the idea come into being?
We are an experienced team focused on helping talented people get hired at FAANG+ companies as Hiring Managers, Software Engineers, Product Managers, Machine Learning Experts, Marketing Managers, Finance experts, UI/UX Experts. We review your resume from the perspective of breaking into a top job at companies like Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google, Microsoft, and more! As of today, we also offer LinkedIn makeovers, 1 on 1 mentorship sessions, mock interviews, and more!
As the COVID-19 Global pandemic hit in early 2020, we realized that candidates are having difficulty getting jobs or interviews. We started the initiative initially as a free service helping candidates improve their resume and LinkedIn profiles. We got many candidates and spent 1–2 hours assisting each candidate and realized that very few people took it seriously since it was a free service. We then decided to charge for the services. Our quality was arguably much higher than anyone else in the industry. We saw that candidates who worked with us were actually landing interviews (and subsequently, jobs) despite the crashing job market. Since then, we’ve expanded, built our mentors team, done webinars in top institutes across the globe, and much more!
What are FAANGPath’s core values?
- Providing the highest quality of work with a focus on the details.
- We believe strongly in teaching someone to fish and how to cook it, rather than giving them cooked fish.
- Always aim for the top.
- Partner with the best mentors, organizations, and groups.
Your proudest achievement so far?
While there is no single proudest achievement, we are really proud of all our candidates/clients who end up landing roles at their dream companies. Every time this happens, it brings joy to our eyes!
VC, Angel, or Bootstrap? And why?
We are entirely bootstrapped from day one. We built the company with a low expense ratio in mind. We got early traction that helped us offset many of the ongoing costs. We may raise funding in the future as we build out our technology platforms.
Where do you see the company in the near term and long term?
Near Term: Providing more candidates with our services and having a fixed candidate funnel/flow. We hope to see steady monthly growth at around a 10–20% increase in revenue per month. At the same time, we will be strengthening the business’s operational side (mentor onboarding, assigning reviews, ensuring quality, etc.) to manage the growth and be consistent in our delivery and promise.
Long Term: A one-stop hub where people from all over the world come to get insights on their written documents (resume, LinkedIn, cover letter, university admission letter, etc.) and can connect with those who have already “made it.” We have started building a technology platform for this, where mentors can give AI-assisted feedback, reducing the time to review significantly.

The biggest mistake you have made so far?
We did not capitalize enough on YouTube or TikTok as an audience-building platform. We are not very good at pumping out as much free useful content as we’d like to be. Happy to connect with any social media managers to work with us :)
Who are your role models or mentors?
My dad has been running a very successful business in India, so I always used to follow him. He has been my mentor since childhood. He is a great advisor to me till today :)
How do you balance a full-time job and a passion project?
When you do something that you love, you can balance various things at the same time.
