ProductTank MCR — An Introduction

It’s a new year and with the new year come resolutions. Yes, it’s February and resolutions are, for some, distant memories. One of ours however was to get new ways of communicating set up — enter a new Medium channel we’ll be trialling.

Also, talking of resolutions and the new year, one of the most common resolutions is to change jobs, which can often entail a move to a new city. Which is the topic of our first (proper!) post.

As Manchester continues to grow, featuring a tech scene that is becoming more and more vibrant, the opportunities get more and more interesting. ProductTank MCR has been bringing product (and UX, dev, design…) folks together since 2012 and we’re hoping that 2017 will be one of our most vibrant years yet!

We’ve seen the continued development of organisations like the BBC, Laterooms, Co-Op, Sainsbury’s, DWP, Autotrader, RentalCars and more over the last couple of years, so if you consider yourself a ‘product person’, whether you have the title or not, get involved. We run events in the city and hopefully this gives you the opportunity to mingle with your ‘tribe’.
