Introducing PIE (Profiles in Innovation and Entrepreneurship)

Hello esteemed readers,

Welcome to Profiles in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (PIE)! My name is Kelvin and I’m beyond excited to introduce this new E-Club project to all of you. My awesome team–Joshua Melynk, Allen Liu, Matthew Yuan, Nirakar Sapkota–and I are all passionate about all things tech and entrepreneurship, and we believe entrepreneurially-minded students would benefit greatly from hearing the inside details of how world-class founders and venture capitalists got to where they are. Isaac Newton once said that “If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants,” and from personal experience I can tell you that the most valuable pieces of insight I’ve ever gleaned have been from chatting with industry professionals. There is no comprehensive guide or defined path to becoming a successful founder or VC, but our goal with PIE is to bring you the stories of hundreds of giants and to transform your raw entrepreneurial spirit into tangible, world-changing organizations.

We envision PIE to be a place where students all around the world who are interested in entrepreneurship can go on and read about whatever topic they find interesting, whether it be advice on starting a company, an interview with a founder who’s an alumni, or a specific technology/sector.
