Welcome to this November 1st issue of ScandiPWA updates! 🎃
Latest development progress
Last week we’ve made a few improvements to scandipwa/persisted-query lib, including:
- proper float argument handling (previously always coalesced to int)
- similar arguments might lead to partial argument escaping
- migrating from predis to credis for a better support of up-to-date Redis storages and automatic fallback to
phpredisextension, that will bring benefits to highly loaded projects
It is suggested to update the module version to: "1.5.0" and "2.1.1" (depending on PWA theme version):

ScandiPWA at Meet Magento Spain
This week ScandiPWA team headed to Madrid to join merchants and Magento professionals for the leading Magento community event in the region.
As usual, the goal was not only to build new connections, strengthen relationships with existing partners, and spread the word about the best PWA solution for Magento, but also to make the event even more fun by giving an unforgettable performance!
So ScandiPWA evangelist Alex Tse delivered possibly the sexiest, definitely the craziest, and yet very informative PWA speech at Meet Magento Spain!

Great to see the community’s loving Alex’s speech on Progressive Web Apps:
Thanks to everyone for coming to watch ScandiPWA presentation and see you at the next events!
PWA Adoption: Progressive Web Apps you (may) use every day
Recently Pinterest announced the launch of Pinterest Lite, a Progressive Web Application aimed to improve user experience for users in low-bandwidth regions.
Pinterest wasn’t the first to release a PWA version of the service, though. In fact, you may be surprised to discover how many services we all use on a daily basis already have a Progressive Web App!
