ScandiPWA Updates: Issue 34
New release, ScandiPWA team is already at Meet Magento India, new webinar announcement in this week's issue of ScandiPWA Updates.
New release: UI improvements, image zoom, bug fixes in ScandiPWA 2.9.
And yet another release by ScandiPWA dev team!

Improved navigation
Bottom navigation is here! It works the same way as the header navigation did previously, at the same time it is more user-friendly.
Top navigation was made for identifying the location and navigating between history. You can now mostly go back, close, see the title there.
One important change in the top navigation — the logo got removed from it on mobile.

Main features of the menu:
- “Menu” tab behaves like a separate tab — you can play around the app and return to it at any time. It will remember where you left!
- It is hidable — for example, in checkout.
- It supports appearing and disappearing on scroll.
Notifications
The new type has been added: info, now the full list of types are as follows: error, success, info.
These elements now look as follows:
Along with the addition of info notification, multiple places were edited, to show the notifications of that type, instead of error. Addition to wish-list, in some case cart.
Terms and conditions in checkout
You can now configure terms and conditions in: Stores -> Configuration -> Sales -> Checkout (see more in wiki)
Animations and transitions
Image zoom
Is made using react-zoom-pan-pinch. Works via pinch on a phone, and by scroll on a desktop. The message has been added to the image gallery, with a call-to-action to scroll.
DataContainer — fetching container
The logic of fetching with temporary caching logic is now available as a part of a container — DataContainer. When inherited, the method fetchData becomes available.
