ScandiPWA v3 is here!
ScandiPWA 3.0.0 — a long-anticipated release is finally here!
The new version released as beta, empowers developers to build even more great things with the ScandiPWA theme. Here are the main updates of the third version:
Plugins
Plugins are the main feature of 3.x release. Plugins allow writing out-of-the-box reusable extensions for ScandiPWA, uniting functionality’s frontend and backend in one composer module.

Parent theme support
Parent theme support is the second huge feature of ScandiPWA v3. Parent theme allows having a theme ‘in-between’ of the one in vendor and the one in app/design/frontend.

ScandiPWA ESLint plugin
ESLint plugin is introduced to cover the most important parts of ScandiPWA coding style guidelines and automate coding style checks during the code review.
It is strongly recommended to use it when working with ScandiPWA.
