What does it mean to be safe? Physical safety, psychological safety?

And what are the different kinds of threats? Perceived threats, real threats, future threats?

And what does healthy encompass? I would argue physical health, emotional health, and mental health are facets of health of equal importance.

Safety can be a feeling. A feeling of ease, a feeling of belonging, a feeling of being home. And I believe that feeling safe is a prerequisite to being and maintaining good health.

Your environment, the weather, everything — all contributes to feelings of safety and your health. And when you’re gut sends a message to your brain, when your gut gives you that impulse that something is amiss, tune into it, listen to it, and do something about it.
