Project A was a sponsor at this year’s Beyond Tellerrand Conference, which took place November 8th and 9th in Berlin.

The conference’s name Beyond Tellerrand, “Tellerrand” coming from a popular German expression “Über den Tellerrand schauen” and literally meaning “beyond the edge of the plate”, makes the allusion of going beyond what is immediately in front us and “thinking outside the box”. The concept of the conference is presenting talks with content that is generally within the fields of frontend development and design, but which might present us with interesting ideas beyond our daily scope.

Project A’s stand at this year’s Beyond Tellerrand

Since first attending last year, we have been consistently impressed with the conference. All talks tend to be of high caliber and are varied enough to have our team of frontend developers, designers and product managers both become inspired and learn from them. Even those in other fields will find some of the talks interesting.

Below, our team’s favorite talks of Beyond Tellerrand 2016:

Be Stubborn. Be Naive. — Jeff Greenspan
Let Us Now Praise Ordinary People — Mike Monteiro
Writing Less Damned Code — Heydon Pickering
Unseen — Tim Kadlec
Typography is Code — Frank Rausch
