A Witch’s Perspective on Ephesians
This relatively short book was a comfortable introduction to such an intimidating collection of stories.
🧘🏻♀️Spiritual Blessings
Verse One mentions the human sacrifice that the death of Jesus was. Although, the more I think about Jesus’ miracles, the more I consider him a demigod.
“Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else– not only in this world but also the world to come” Ephesians 1:21
This line reminded me of the spiritual community’s conversations regarding a “New Earth” and the 5th Dimension. You can hear more about that here.
⚰️ Made Alive with Christ
Verse Two made me consider the ideas of reincarnation and necromancy due to Jesus being raised from the dead.
As I read further, I contemplated the idea of a human’s subconscious being the “unseen world” in the following line:
“You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil– the commander of the powers of the unseen world” Ephesians 2:2
The subconscious would house experiences and rules (spoken or unspoken) that govern our behaviors without evaluating how we interact with the world around us.
