Hopefully you are having a great month! We are already halfway through the year and here at Hydro Labs we have been busy building. We realize it’s been some time since the last update, so going forward we are going to return to making this a weekly occurrence.

In this update, we will discuss the latest news regarding Hydro Pay, updates and changes to Hydro X and the 2019 roadmap, our newest AMA, our Hydro Video Contest Winners, and more!

Hydro Pay: Information Overload!

After a long month of hard work getting Hydro Pay for release on the 29th of June, the app became more popular than expected. The sheer number of users caused the Ethereum blockchain to clog heavily to the point that users became unable to access the app. It was a tough decision but we decided to take Hydro Pay temporarily off the Google Play Store so we could resolve the issues, and make additional bug fixes. Hydro Pay is expected to re-launch with version 1.0.1 later this month.

We are not happy about the delay but we must commend the insane dedication that the developers have shown by the amount of overtime they are putting in to make sure everything is completed correctly. Harsh has had many a 3am finish and early starts in order to keep the development going. Keep updated daily on their progress by checking out the developer updates on the official Twitter account.

2019 Hydro Roadmap Update

We will have an updated roadmap for the rest of 2019 with all these changes available. This will show more accurately all the details for the next six months. We have at least one significant change that we think the community will like! Look forward to this in the coming weeks.

Q&A/Blog Updates

Conclusions

Last month was extremely busy with lots of challenging tasks, successes, and roadblocks. It has been challenging at times but we have a great team and a great community who have worked through any issues together. All in all the positives have outweighed the negatives as we learned to adapt and show the true strength of Hydro.
