Pitching in NSIN Propel Demo Day
In the beginning of 2021, we applied for the NSIN Propel accelerator program. It was an accelerator program sponsored by National Security Innovation (NSIN), Newlab, and Decisive Point. Since we are targeting both the Department of Defense (DoD) and the commercial space with our technology, we saw this as an opportunity to accelerate our dual-use startup.
On Thursday September 23, we pitched in the NSIN Propel Demo Day at the Newlab consisting of key personnel in government and defense organizations. We showcased what Project OWL has accomplished since the start of the accelerator program.
Afterwards, there was a break-out session, where these key personnel traversed through the company booths. People from the Department of Homeland and Security, the Hanscom Air Force Base and many more visited our booth. Ideas were shared, connections were made, and next steps were discussed. One of the next steps was getting a D.U.C.K. in each of their hands. We were excited to go back home to the duck factory and start building more Ducks.
Also we had the opportunity to network with companies from our cohort. There is some client overlap we have with them. The other companies had great solutions but needed a simple, cost-effective network to communicate the data to the clients. And that is where Project OWL seamlessly fits in this puzzle. Project OWL would deploy a Clusterduck network and companies can utilize it to communicate with their clients. This is exactly what we are known for: being the #1 integrator.
We are grateful for this opportunity that NSIN, Newlab, and Decisive Point provided. Being a small, young startup, it is very helpful to find organizations that can help us get our great technology in front of the right people.
