Technology Updates
Thanks to the community feedback, the Project PAI newsletter will now feature frequent tech updates to keep everyone informed on the development of the blockchain technology and applications by early adopters!
Work on the PAI Up Android wallet is nearing completion, and testing on the Project PAI blockchain is in full swing. The app should be ready for release this quarter.
- Development of PAI coin desktop wallet for non-Android users has commenced.
- Working on import, export and recovery of PAI coin wallets using the BIP39 12-word mnemonic standard
- Implemented support for multi-signature wallet support and pre-sale investor holding period storage
- Working on design of simple, user friendly UI
- Developing easy-to-use installer wizards for Windows and macOS
- Debugging small issues for PAI Up support in China, fixing internet connectivity error dialog on Chinese Networks
- Building out tools for secure and reliable distribution of PAI coin to pre-sale investors
- Improving robustness of BitTorrent-PAI Blockchain data storage layer
Project Development Updates
PAI in Dubai (Again)
Project PAI was a major draw at the World AI Show in Dubai this month. Gathering more than 200 Global AI leaders in technology, research, academics, business and investment to discuss the impact of AI on commercial applications and the many ways it can transform the world, ObEN’s adoption of Project PAI was featured in the keynote address delivered by ObEN cofounder and CEO Nikhil Jain. In addition, Nikhil also shared his expertise and vision on two panels discussing digital transformation and interbot communication.

Livestreaming on 8BTC
ObEN COO and cofounder Adam Zheng broke records with his livestream on 8BTC (巴比特) with popular host Xiao Miao, discussing Personal AI and ObEN’s adoption of the Project PAI blockchain. Over 3.8M viewers tuned in, making it the day’s top 10 broadcasts on popular Chinese live streaming platform YiZhibo. For those of you who understand Chinese, watch the video here.
The World’s First Personal AI Art Concierge
Get a look at Personal AI in action at the K11 Art Mall in Shanghai. K11 is a pioneering brand which developed the world’s first museum-retail experience, with flagship locations in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan. ObEN recently showcased the technology at K11’s new art exhibit, featuring K11 founder Adrian Chang’s PAI guiding visitors through a one-of-a-kind experience from their mobile phone. The PAI provides background on the art, development, and curation of House and Universe, the first solo Asia exhibition for famed American artist Betty Woodman, and Ālaya, the first solo exhibition in mainland China for Chinese artist Zhao Yang. 4/18 Pasadena AI, Blockchain, and Crypto Meetup — this month, featured speaker Heidi Pease, founder of the LA Blockchain Lab, will follow the money to see who is really making it big in the blockchain boom.
4/24 Women in Blockchain — join Dr. Julie Albright — named one of the “24 Most Influential Women in Blockchain” — and explore the intersection of sociology, psychology, and technology. Hosted at Plug and Play LA, the world’s largest startup accelerator.
4/29 Unchain the Blockchain at Harvard — ObEN’s VP of Marketing and Partnerships, Sho Guo, will be speaking about their adoption of the Project PAI blockchain at the HCSSA Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Summit, hosted at Harvard.
5/11 Startup World Cup Finals — Last year in Dubai, ObEN’s adoption of the Project PAI blockchain took home first prize in the regional round of the Startup World Cup. Will they take the crown, and the $1 Million prize at the World Cup finals in San Francisco?
5/11 Innovation & Technology Law Symposium — Project PAI will be featured at the University of Seattle School of Law’s unique program on innovation, technology, laws and regulation in blockchain and fintech.
Community Updates
This month, Project PAI early adopter ObEN shared its work on the PAI blockchain at two Los Angeles area events. First on 4/7 they presented at the California China Summit,the largest and most influential US-China forum on the west coast of the United States. Then on 4/11, ObEN Marketing Manager and Chief Engineer were invited to speak about the development of the PAI blockchain and its many applications with students at UCLA, one of the most prestigious universities in the US.
