Technology Updates

Proof of Useful Work (PoUW)

• Worked on using BLS multi-signature authentication for collective decisions (voting, verifier reports, etc.)
• Worked on the communication model between worker nodes
• Worked on the crash-recovery model for worker nodes
• Worked on an offline worker node detection algorithm
• Worked on adversarial models based on Long Range Attacks

Proof of Work/Proof of Stake (PoW/PoS) Hybrid Mining

• Implemented some of the Wallet/Multisignature Remote Procedure Call operations like “sendtomultisig”, “redeemmultisigout” and “redeemmultisigouts”
• Worked on validation of stake transactions

PAI Coin Mining & Staking Pool

• Worked on various PAI miner optimizations
• Added language localization to PAI Miner
• Improved the authentication workflow in PAI Miner
• Improved installers of PAI Miner

PAI Up Web Wallet

• Investigated and resolved minor user interaction bugs

Consensus 2019 Recap

Did you catch our big announcement at Consensus 2019? Last week, the ObEN and Project PAI teams headed out to New York to attend the largest crypto and blockchain event of the year. On the morning of day two, ObEN CEO Nikhil Jain took the stage to introduce Consensus attendees to Satoshi PAI, the world’s first AI Anchor created by ObEN tech with IP stored on the Project PAI blockchain. You can watch Satoshi via the PAI News app at www.painews.com.

In addition to launching the new app, the team also had the opportunity to network with leaders from news, media, and financial institutions like Nasdaq, Reuters, and more.
