Wyvern Dev Update #15: 20/05/18

This is the fifteenth in the Project Wyvern development update series (now switching to biweekly). If you missed the last update, find it here.

Development

• Wyvern Protocol v2.1 has been upgraded to solc v0.23, finalized, deployed to the Rinkeby testnet, and published on Solidified for a bug bounty. Protocol version 2.1 adds some EVM-specific optimizations which drastically reduce the gas costs of order settlement, and is completely backwards-compatible with version 2.0 (you’ll just need to upgrade wyvern-js).
• Thanks to bakaoh on Github, solcover is now working with the latest smart contracts. Check out the test coverage here (94%!).
• wyvern-js has been updated with the latest testnet and mainnet addresses and published to NPM (v2.1.2).
• Gitcoin bounties for two Wyvern frontend concept designs (UI mockups / UX flow descriptions): a smart contract marketplace (500 DAI / 500 WYV) and a Wyvern OTC interface (150 DAI / 150 WYV) have seen some interest already. Comment if you’re interested, we’ll pay for as many submissions as are qualified (see issues for requirements).
